Update.

Well I am in kata beach at the moment. It is a small town down the road from patong, where I started. Good news is that I have not got sick :)

The bad news is that the sea has been very rough, and has been closed every day I haqve been here so far.

Signs warning of danger and rip currents are everywhere, and the life guards are telling people to get out of the water all the time (I still jump in when they are stopping others.).

The water is quite dirty, apart from being not clear, there is heaps of rubbish floating around. Paper, rope, nets, tyres, people (ok I made up people)

Tomorrow I go on a day trip to Phi Phi island. It is a full day trip on a speed boat to many islands, and back again.

The old white skin is starting to turn a lovely golden red. It is humid, so muscle shirts, and singlets, are the norm.

It has been around 30c most days since I have been here, and I am certianly enjoying the scenery. Trees, streets (dirty streets), Bikini's, food, jungle, mountains, elephants, bikini's, hmm did I say that twice.

I did go for an elephant ride, it was not that exciting.

Well I should go to bed, I have to get up early for my trip to phi phi.
